For May sweeps, Katie Couric is taking her daytime talk show to Hollywood. Couric will host her eponymous syndicated program from the set of “Jimmy Kimmel Live” at the El Capitan Theater on Hollywood Boulevard.

Disney, which produces Couric’s talk show and airs Kimmel’s program, also owns the El Capitan.

As in New York, there will be a live audience, with  Couric also visiting Hollywood landmarks. Guests will include Kimmel (of course) as well as fellow Eric Stonestreet (“Modern Family”), musician Will.i.am and actress Zooey Deschanel.
