Kathie Lee Gifford returned to the Today show this morning, a week after the death of her husband Hall of Fame football player and former NFL broadcaster Frank Gifford. Kathie Lee delivered a faith-filled retrospective of her husband who died at their Connecticut home on Sunday, August 9. “He passed away instantly that morning, all dressed in what he knew was my favorite outfit: white shirt, tight black jeans. He knew he looked good,” Kathie Lee said.
“He died in complete peace. He knew every sin he’d ever committed had been forgiven. He strayed from his faith on occasion, but his faith never left him,” she added. “We’ve felt your prayers. We’re so grateful.”
