CNN “New Day” anchor Kate Bolduan and her husband Michael Gershenson welcomed baby Cecelia Eve Gershenson Thursday. Cecelia came into the world at 10:39am, weighing 6 lbs.
Bolduan says: “While small, she’s mighty scrappy, she has a set of lungs that rival her mother’s and the world just got a whole lot sweeter.”
Bolduan’s “New Day” team threw her a baby shower last Thursday. Baby Cecelia is the third newborn to a morning news anchor in the last six weeks. “Today” co-anchor Savannah Guthrie gave birth to a baby girl Aug. 14 and Fox News anchor Jenna Lee gave birth to a baby boy Sept. 3.
