The U.S. presidential election is having a seismic impact on daily discourse not just here in the U.S., but internationally as well.

With that in mind, CNN International is launching State of the Race, a new nightly prime time program which will provide international audiences with an extensive lowdown on the race to the White House. The 30-minute program premieres next Monday and will air weekdays on CNN International at 2:30 p.m. in the Eastern U.S., 7:30 p.m. in Ireland/Great Britain, and 8:30 p.m. in central Europe.

Veteran CNN Congressional correspondent Kate Bolduan will anchor State of the Race from CNN’s New York bureau.

“This has already been a race like no other, and it is clear there is a lot more to come,” said Bolduan. “Every night we’re going to bring our international audiences along for the ride – offering the very latest developments from the campaign trail and giving them the inside scoop of what is really going on within the campaigns and in the minds of American voters.”
