CNN “New Day” co-anchor Kate Bolduan has been out on maternity leave, but stopped by the set this morning to talk about her past, while also sharing a bit of her future too. Bolduan was accompanied by her new baby Cecelia, who seemed content in her TV debut.
“I’ve totally changed, I’m a little puddle of love,” Bolduan said when asked about motherhood. “New Day” also aired Bolduan’s “Roots” feature, part of a series of reports into the backgrounds of CNN anchors.
“Roots: Our Journeys Home,” hosted by Anderson Cooper and Michaela Pereira, is a compilation of the stories airing tomorrow night at 9pmET.

In other morning show baby news, “Today” co-anchor Savannah Guthrie will return from maternity leave on November 3.
