July Ratings: More Nielsen Love For Nancy

When will Nancy Grace peak? In July, Grace enjoyed “the program’s best delivery since its launch in March. The show averaged 656,000 viewers at 8pm last month — double as many as her nearest Headline News competitor. The only CNN personalities with higher ratings are Larry King, Paula Zahn and Aaron Brown. (And they’ve had years to build an audience.)

Thanks in part to Grace, Headline News posted “significant increases” in total day and primetime, CNN says. In Monday-Sunday total day, HLN increased 32 percent year-over-year (and 42 percent in the 25-54 demographic). In Monday-Friday primetime, HLN increased 129 percent year-over-year (and 120 percent in the demo).
