Judy In Jail: “Press-On-Press”

The redesigned NY Observer Web site features five blogs, including Tom Scocca‘s Media Mob. The blog’s “special Washington correspondent” describes the “press-on-press” action outside the D.C. courthouse today: Some reporters managed to make it inside the courtroom, while “more than 70 other journalists and observers…were relegated to a spare courtroom, where proceedings in the case against Cooper and the New York Times’ Judy Miller were broadcast over a grainy PA system.” Once the judge said Miller would be jailed, “reporters jumped out of their seats, flipped open their cell phones and headed out the door.” More…
