JP Morgan Chase CEO Helps CNBC Find New Talent

CNBC’s Maria Bartiromo today landed a brief, exclusive interview with one of the star of the financial news network’s today, JP Morgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon.

Dimon was in Washington D.C. today for the senate hearing concerning the takeover of Bear Stearns, and Bartiromo caught him outside the hearing room for a recap and reaction as he made his way out.

He also touched on what will happen when, inevitably, people lose their jobs because of the purchase. “We’re going to really go out of our way, with special outpatient offices, to try to get every last person a job because there obviously will be job loss in this,” he said. “But we want to make sure those great people hopefully find homes at private equity hedge funds or other financial companies in New York, and maybe CNBC.”
