Telemundo has announced the debut of its new Sunday morning political affairs show.
Washington, D.C.-based Enfoque (“Focus”) will premiere Sunday at 11:30amET, featuring an interview with First Lady Michelle Obama conducted during her visit to Mexico.
The program will be hosted by Telemundo anchor Jose Diaz-Balart, whose work is often featured on sister networks NBC and MSNBC (Diaz-Balart is also a former CBS This Morning anchor).
“Enfoque comes at a crucial time for the Hispanic community,” says Telemundo President Don Browne in a press release. “Critical issues of the day will be examined including the Census, the economy, healthcare, education and the pending immigration reform.”
Diaz-Balart will be on sister network NBC’s “Meet the Press” this Sunday as part of the roundtable.
