Jon Klein Re-Ups With CNN

By Chris Ariens

Broadcasting & Cable‘s Marisa Guthrie reports that CNN/U.S. president Jon Klein has signed a deal to remain with the network for four more years.

Klein will continue to report to Jim Walton, president of CNN/Worldwide.

Klein and CNN Worldwide EVP Ken Jautz (who runs Headline News) held a town hall meeting at CNN’s New York offices this afternoon. Insiders tell us the hour-long Q and A session included programming updates and 2007 successes. CNN’s DC bureau chief David Bohrman, who is heading up political coverage and debates for the network, was in New York for the event.
