John Walsh Takes His Crime Fighting to Discovery ID

It’s upfront season, when TV networks try to get advertisers to buy what they’re selling. Adweek’s Jason Lynch has been covering all of the cable upfronts so far, with the broadcast networks presenting next month.

Earlier this week at the Discovery Inc. upfront, which now includes all Scripps and Discovery channels, the company announced that John Walsh will host a new show called In Pursuit, which picks up where his HLN show, The Hunt, left off.

That show will air on Discovery ID, the crime-focused network which also carries Deadline: Crime with Tamron Hall, and repackages episodes of 20/20.

The Hunt aired 5 seasons, first on CNN, then on HLN, but won’t go to a season 6. Walsh hosted America’s Most Wanted for 23 years on FOX.

Meanwhile, over on HGTV, Fox News correspondent Adam Housley and his wife, actress and The Real co-host Tamera Mowry share their story of renovating a Napa Valley home in The Housleys.
