John Antonio Named VP of CNN Dayside

John Antonio has been named Vice President of Dayside Programming for CNN/U.S. Jeff Zucker announced to staffers this morning that Antonio would be taking over the role previously held by Janelle Rodriguez, who left for NBC last year.

Antonio has been with CNN since 2011, directing more than 50 hours of live programming per week and working closely with CNN International, CNN en Espanol and CNN Digital. Antonio is based in Atlanta, with all of the CNN/U.S. dayside programs.
