Jennifer Mee, aka ‘Hiccup Girl,’ Charged with First Degree Murder

By Molly Stark Dean

Jennifer Mee, the teenager who couldn’t stop hiccuping for five weeks, and went on the “Today” show multiple times to talk about it, has confessed to murder. In 2007, at just 15 years old, Mee was sought after by all major media outlets for her incessant hiccups. It was even rumored that the girl was contacted by “Good Morning America” 57 times. Now at age 19, Mee is again being followed by the media — this time as a murder suspect. Over the weekend, Mee allegedly lured a man into a home in St. Petersburg, FL where he was robbed and fatally shot.
