Jennifer Aniston on the ‘Soap Opera’ That is Celebrity Gossip

AnistonActress Jennifer Aniston will appear on “CBS Sunday Morning with Charles Osgood” tomorrow to discuss a variety of topics with Lee Cowan. The former “Friends” star has been on an unofficial Oscar campaign to promote her new film “Cake, which included hosting a lunch at media hot spot Michael’s recently.

Aniston tells Cowan that the best way to deal with the incessant paparazzi coverage is to ignore it.

“Just don’t pay attention,” Aniston says. “I think I used to… really, there was a period where I was hell-bent on saying, ‘That’s not true, that’s not right, that’s not fair.’ And now I just think you have to let it roll off your back, and you realize, I think everyone knows it’s all B.S. and like soap opera on paper.”

She also talks with Cowan about working as a waitress at a burger restaurant in New York City, about the impact of her parents’ divorce on her childhood, how her father, actor John Aniston, didn’t want her to go into acting, and about being engaged to actor Justin Theroux.
