Fox News meteorologist Janice Dean and WPIX reporter Magee Hickey were crowned New York’s funniest reporters over the weekend, marking the first year in the history of the eight-year contest that there was a tie for first place.
It’s the second year in a row that the winner has come from Fox News. “Fox and Friends” weekend anchor Clayton Morris was the 2012 winner. Syndicated radio host Peter Schiff came in second place and Fox Business Network’s Charles Payne was third.
The annual stand-up competition was held Sunday at Comic Strip Live. The Blaze’s Laurie Dhue and Fox News’ Dr. Manny Alvarez were among the other competitors, and HLN’s Jane Velez-Mitchell served as a judge.
