James Foley’s Mother Finds ‘Small Solace’ In Strike on ‘Jihadi John’

In an interview with ABC News correspondent Brian Ross, the mother of murdered journalist James Foley said the drone strike suspected of killing the ISIS terrorist dubbed “Jihadi John” has given her “small solace.”

Diane Foley, whose son was beheaded in a video that shocked the world, questioned the celebratory reaction to the strike on her son’s killer:

“This huge effort to go after the this deranged man filled with hate when they can’t make half that effort to save the hostages while these young Americans were still alive.”
