Jake Tapper to Moderate Town Hall Featuring Speaker Paul Ryan

By A.J. Katz

Jake Tapper will moderate a CNN Town Hall featuring Speaker of the House Paul Ryan next Monday live from Wisconsin, and it comes at a pretty important time for the country.

Set for Aug. 21 at 9 p.m. ET, Ryan will take questions from constituents living in his Wisconsin congressional district during the hour-long event.

Speaker Ryan is scheduled to address looming deadlines on the 2018 federal budget, the need to address the debt ceiling, his party’s desire to try and pass tax reform, and an infrastructure package.

This past weekend’s events in Charlottesville will most certainly be addressed at length as well.

The town hall will air live on CNN, as well as on CNN en Español, CNN International, CNNgo, Westwood One Radio Network, CNN Channel 116 on Sirius XM, and all CNN digital platforms.

We’re pretty sure there won’t be any “dabbing” this time around.
