Jake Tapper Gets the Sunday ‘Hat Trick’

By Chris Ariens

Late today CNN’s State of the Union host Jake Tapper secured GOP presidential candidate Jeb Bush for his Sunday show, giving him three exclusives.

“Sometimes the planets align,” Tapper tells TVNewser. “So excited to have the hat trick: Hillary Clinton after her debate performance and before her Benghazi committee testimony, Jeb Bush fired up about Donald Trump‘s comments about his brother and September 11, and Mitt Romney, a man with strong feelings about foreign-policy, Hillary Clinton and the Republican race.”

State of the Union airs at 9 a.m. ET and re-airs at Noon tomorrow.
