Jake Tapper, Dana Bash Moderate Bernie Sanders-Ted Cruz Debate

By Chris Ariens

The 2016 primary and general election debates were ratings blockbusters for the TV networks. But now that the races have been won (and lost) CNN has found a way to keep political junkies engaged, and TV ratings up, with policy debates.

On Tuesday, Jake Tapper and Dana Bash will co-moderate a Town Hall Debate with Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and Sen.Ted Cruz (R-TX) on the future of Obamacare.

Pres. Trump’s first executive order, signed on inauguration day, was an effort aimed at “minimizing the economic burden” of the ACA “pending repeal.”

Sanders and Cruz were the runners-up for 2016 Democratic and Republican nominations, respectively. The 90-minute event will air on CNN, CNN en Español, CNN International, CNNgo, Westwood One Radio Network and on CNN Channel 116 on Sirius XM. And we’re pretty sure there won’t be any mention of “your damn emails.”
