Promoting his new book, It’s Getting Ugly Out There, Jack Cafferty visited the ladies of The View this morning.
Asked by Elisabeth Hasselbeck if things in our country are “just going to keep getting worse”, Cafferty said he’s concerned about the “tradition in this country that the next generation always has it better than the ones that went before. Your kids are supposed to live better than you did.” It’s a tradition, he believes, that will not continue.
Its Getting Ugly, by the way, stands at #19 on the New York Times Hardcover Nonfiction Best Sellers List. Fellow CNNer Jeffery Toobin claims the #5 spot with his Supreme Court tome, The Nine.
