A day after most news outlets reported that Donald Trump was selecting Mike Pence has his VP, the presumptive GOP nominee made it official in a tweet this morning:

Trump will wait until tomorrow to introduce Pence, who will end his run for re-election as Indiana Governor. Trump delayed the rollout a day due to the terror attack in Nice, France last night. Sean Hannity gets the first interview with Trump/Pence airing tonight on his show. Trump and Pence will also sit down with Lesley Stahl for a 60 Minutes interview airing Sunday.

It’s been about 24 hours since the news networks first reported the pick: CBS News reported it in a special report at 12:29 p.m. ET yesterday, ABC reported it around 5:15 p.m. and NBC News confirmed the news with its sources around 6:15 p.m.
