ESPN baseball analyst Curt Schilling was suspended yesterday for sending a Nazi-related meme on Twitter. ESPN’s PR guru Josh Krulewitz responded, saying that the tweet was “completely unacceptable” and removing Schilling from his current assignment broadcasting the Little League World Series pending “further consideration.” Schilling’s original tweet is below.
Schilling responded, via Twitter, of course:
I understand and accept my suspension. 100% my fault. Bad choices have bad consequences and this was a bad decision in every way on my part.

It’s not Schilling’s first time getting in trouble because of his comments on social media. Last December, the Red Sox legend caused quite a stir when debating the Theory of Evolution with colleague Keith Law. The conversation resulted in a suspension for Law, but not Schilling.
