Isiah Thomas sure sounds like he’s plotting a return to Madison Square Garden.
The former coach and team president spoke with Sid Rosenberg on Miami radio Tuesday night and he offered some thoughts about the direction of the team.
When asked if he was advising James Dolan, Thomas had this to say: “The conversations I have with any of my friends are always private and confidential. The conversations I have with friends and people that I know, those are private conversations.”

That sure sounds like someone who is working behind the scenes to get a job. Because, you know, it went so well last time.
