Iraq: Incredibly Dangerous For Journalists

61 journalists have been killed on duty in Iraq since hostilies began in March 2003, according to the Committee to Protect Journalists. At least 41 of those were Iraqi. The statistics don’t include injuries. Many journalists have also been taken hostage.

“Other media watchdogs say the toll is higher,” Reuters says.
