Beginning at 11 a.m. ET, Jim Lehrer anchors PBS’ inauguration coverage, which includes political analysis from Mark Shields and David Brooks and historical context from Peniel Joseph, Ellen Fitzpatrick and Richard Brookhiser. PBS plans to include coverage of Barack Obama’s arrival at the White House, excerpts of the church service and Obama’s speech to the nation from the Capitol steps.

On the night of Barack Obama’s historic inauguration, FRONTLINE examines the rich personal and political biography of the 44th president of the United States.

TAVIS SMILEY — Tuesday, January 20, 11-11:30 p.m. ET (check local listings)
Tavis Smiley looks back at Barack Obama’s six appearances on the show, dating back to his days as a little-known Illinois state senator. Also featured: Obama’s appearance on the day after his speech at the 2004 Democratic National Convention. In addition to this archival material, TAVIS SMILEY will air excerpts of the inaugural address.

Charlie Rose hosts post-inauguration analysis originating from Washington, DC, with a variety of guests.

NIGHTLY BUSINESS REPORT — Tuesday, January 20, 6:30-7 p.m. ET (check local listings)
NIGHTLY BUSINESS REPORT’s coverage includes: live report of the day’s events and analysis of the growing “to do” list for the new president. A special report, “A Time for Change: The Obama Agenda,” will air on Monday, January 19 (check local listings).
