  • The Los Angeles Times talks to FBN anchor Lou Dobbs about how he’s slimmed down since his CNN days: “There were two periods when I lost control of my weight: when I was part of the team building CNN in 1980, and the other time was building the CNN financial network in the late ’90s. In both instances I became so consumed with everything I was doing, I rationalized that I didn’t have time to exercise and my weight really ballooned up. My life has been a course of gaining weight and fighting it off.”

  • Dobbs’ Fox Business colleague, Sandra Smith, is profiled in Modern Mom. “Growing up with a lot of family members who were financial traders, I knew I would eventually work in that business,” Smith said. “And so I never thought that reporting the news on TV was in the cards for me.”
