Fox News’ Laura Ingraham spoke with Capitol File for a piece tied to her televised town hall from Chicago, which airs tonight at 10 p.m. She’s asked about the divide between the news media and the White House and how it may impact voters when they head to the ballot box next year: “While it’s true that a lot of folks just want things to calm down in politics, it’s also true that voters are a lot savvier than most in the media and political establishment think they are. Whatever troubles President Trump has with approval numbers, the media’s problems are a lot bigger. The public understands that with rare exception, the “objective” media is anything but. In the end, they’ll judge Trump more on results than on rhetoric (his or theirs).”

Nightly News and Dateline NBC anchor Lester Holt is featured in the September issue of Men’s Journal in the Last Word life advice column. Holt is asked how a person should handle regret: “I tend to be very forward-looking. There are things that have happened that I regret or wish hadn’t happened, but there’s not a damn thing I can do about them today. What I can do is learn, hopefully improve, and make better choices.”
