In Chris Wallace Interview, President Obama Laments Partisan Media

By Chris Ariens

Toward the end of his first interview on Fox News Sunday in 8 years, President Obama talked about the challenge of getting things done in Washington in such a partisan atmosphere. “Nobody’s going to be 100 percent satisfied in a democracy like ours with every outcome,” the president said, adding, “I think the danger, both among Republicans, and among Democrats, who increasingly just listen to each other. Or they just listen to people who already agree with them. Republicans, they have their own TV stations, their own radio…”

“Go ahead, you can say Fox News,” Wallace interrupted.

Obama continued: “…they’ve got their own publications, their own blogs. Democrats, same thing. Increasingly what happens is, we don’t hear each other.”
