In April, “CNN/U.S. Closed The Gap With FNC By Half” In The 25-54 Demo

“In April 2005, CNN/U.S. closed the gap with FNC by half,” the network said today.

Weekday primetime, 25-54 demo In April 2004, FNC’s lead was 149%, or 549,000 viewers vs. 239,000. In April 2005, the gap narrowed to 46%, or 443,000 viewers vs. 304,000. (FNC lost a lot more viewers than CNN gained.)

Total day, 25-54 demo: “FNC’s lead was also cut in half,” CNN says. In April 2004, FNC’s lead was 98%; Now it is 49%, CNN says.
