In Appearance on Fox News, Bobby Jindal Announces He’s Dropping Out

In an appearance Tuesday evening on Fox News Channel, Republican presidential candidate Bobby Jindal announced he would suspend his campaign. “I’ve come to the realization that this is not my time. So I came here to announce that I’m suspending my campaign for president of the United States,” Jindal told Special Report host Bret Baier.

Jindal has ranked in the lower-tier of GOP candidates, putting him into the “undercard” debates so far this election cycle. Asked if he would endorse a candidate in the race, Jindal said “I want somebody who’s got the courage and the smarts to make big changes.”
