Imus Is Back, and Barbara’s Got Him

By Chris Ariens

It’s day one for Don Imus back on the air. Imus’ return to radio is being broadcast from New York’s Town Hall. The $100 tickets will benefit the Imus Ranch for Kids With Cancer. Among the guests expected on the program, political strategist and CNN analyst James Carville, who often called in to Imus’ WFAN/MSNBC show.

ABC’s Barbara Walters gets the first interview with Imus. It will air on her “10 Most Fascinating People of 2007” special Thursday night at 10pmET on ABC. This link, which will be live at 10amET, has an excerpt.

And tonight CNN’s Larry King Live is devoting the hour to Imus’ return. Among King’s guests: Rev. Al Sharpton, syndicated radio talk show host Wendy Williams, and Patrick Gottsch of RFD-TV, the cable network on which Imus’ show simulcasts.
