Huge Streaming Video Numbers “Are Becoming More & More Common”

With 7 million videos served, Tuesday was MSNBC.com’s highest single video day of 2006.
Steve Irwin videos topped the list. One video of Matt Lauer interviewing Irwin’s friends drew over 2 million streams yesterday. “That’s a big add onto the TV audience that original watched it,” an e-mailer points out.

Then on Wednesday, another Lauer video of him showing pictures of Suri Cruise was streamed 1.2 million times. “These big numbers are becoming more and more common,” the e-mailer says…
