House Democrats Will Be Focus of the Next CNN Town Hall

By A.J. Katz

CNN seems to like these prime time Town Hall programs. Chris Cuomo moderated one with Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) on Monday, Jan. 9, and Jake Tapper moderated one with House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) three days later on Thursday, Jan. 12. Tapper will moderate another live Town Hall on Tuesday, Jan. 31 at 9 p.m., this one with the House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA).

Hopefully Leader Pelosi won’t partake in some dabbing during this discussion, as Ryan did during his.

Fewer than two weeks into the Trump presidency, Tapper will lead a discussion with Leader Pelosi focusing on how the Democratic Party will deal with the Trump administration agenda. Additionally, the House Democratic Leader will field questions from audience members from across the country and discuss the major issues facing the nation. Pelosi is the highest-ranking woman in American history, having served as Speaker of the House from 2007 to 2011.
