Hosts of MSNBC’s The Cycle Say Farewell

By Mark Joyella

Pausing to address the end of their show after three years, the hosts of MSNBC’s The Cycle said farewell Friday. “This is a special network, and we’re proud to have been a small part of its history,” said Touré.

Touré, Abby Huntsman and Krystal Ball are all leaving MSNBC. Co-host Ari Melber will remain as a part of the network.

Ball, one of two original hosts of the program, thanked the show’s producers, hair and makeup, and production crew. “The amazing team that really has become a family, led by the one and only (executive producer) Steve Friedman, and most of all, all of you at home.”

Touré addressed the network’s future, as three shows are canceled and more changes are expected:

And you know, I love MSNBC. This network meant a lot to me and to us before we were here, even as guests. This is a special network, and we’re proud to have been a small part of its history. I hope you guys keep watching this network, because it’s trying to do something special.
