HLN anchor Yasmin Vossoughian conducted an interview with a man claiming to be an Edward Snowden supporter this afternoon on the Daily Share. Unfortunately for Vossoughian, HLN booked a guest who goes by the Twitter handle @fart and decided to answer every question as if they were discussing Edward Scissorhands, not Snowden. It turns out that @fart is comedian Jon Hendren.
“Well, you know to say he couldn’t harm someone…well, absolutely he could,” Hendren said. “But I think to cast him out, to make him invalid in society, simply because he has scissors for hands…I mean that’s strange. People didn’t get scared until he started sculpting shrubs into dinosaur shapes and whatnot.”

Somehow, that didn’t get the attention of Vossoughian. The Daily Share co-host went on to ask a follow-up question about Snowden’s asylum in Russia.
“We’re treating him like an animal, like someone who should be quarantined and put away. Just because he was created on top of a mountain by Vincent Price, incomplete with scissors for hand and no heart. Edward Scissorhands is a complete hero to me,” Hendren said.
Hendren went on to keep a straight face and say, “we got scared when he poked a hole in a waterbed with his scissor fingers, and that was unreasonable of us.” Check it out:
