HLN Debuts New Logo, Brand Image and Tagline

By A.J. Katz

HLN debuted a new logo, graphics package, brand image spot, and tagline (News That Hits Home) this morning.

The revamped HLN brand message is focused on covering domestic stories all over the nation, “stories that hit home.”

Carol Costello‘s forthcoming HLN program, Across America with Carol Costello, seems to align with the new message.

Speaking of Costello, Across America was supposed to premiere in late April, but is now on track to premiere early next month. It will supplant Michaela Pereira’s West Coast-based news program (MichaeLA) in the 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. ET time period. Pereira will move to the afternoons (3 – 5 p.m. ET / 12 – 2 p.m. PT).

With personalities including Robin Meade, Pereira, Erica Hill, Ashleigh Banfield, and now Costello, HLN also happens to be the sole cable news network featuring all female anchors or hosts in multiple dayparts.
