Hillary Clinton to Make First Sunday Show Appearance in Four Years

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton will be John Dickerson‘s guest on Face the Nation this Sunday. Clinton’s CBS Sunday sit-down will be her first in four years. Testifying on Capitol Hill in 2013, then-Secretary of State Clinton was asked why U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice had made the Sunday show rounds instead of her, in the immediate aftermath of the attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi in Sept. 2012.

“Well, I have to confess here in public. Going on the Sunday shows is not my favorite thing to do,” Clinton said. “There are other things I prefer to do on Sunday mornings. And, you know, I haven’t been on a Sunday show in way over a year. So it just isn’t something I normally jump to do.”
