Tuesday night, MSNBC celebrated five years of The Beat with Ari Melber inside The Jean-Michel Basquiat: King Pleasure exhibit in Manhattan. MSNBC President Rashida Jones made remarks introducing Melber, “The Beat is such a unique product, it is the only place where you can see [hip hop legend] Fat Joe and [conservative commentator] Bill Kristol on the same set. We’re really proud and really excited of the work that the team has done.”
