Here’s the Email Megyn Kelly Sent to Fox News About Bill O’Reilly

Fewer than 48 hours after Saturday’s New York Times story on former FNC analyst Lis Whiel‘s $32 million sexual harassment settlement with Bill O’Reilly broke, NBC News’s Megyn Kelly decided to speak out. Kelly gave a passionate four-minute monologue on her program addressing sexual harassment and Fox News.

“Fox News was not exactly a friendly environment for harassment victims who wanted to report, in my experience,” said Kelly. “However, O’Reilly’s suggestion that no one complained about his behavior is false, I know because I complained.”

To prove her point, Kelly read a November 2016 email to then-Fox News co-president Bill Shine and current Fox News executive Jack Abernethy. In the email, shown below, Kelly indeed complained about workplace harassment.
