ABC News:
ABC News chief anchor George Stephanopoulos will lead Donald Trump Inauguration Day coverage for the network live from Washington D.C., beginning with a special edition of Good Morning America at 7:00 a.m. ET with continuing coverage through 4:00 p.m. ET. Later in the day, World News Tonight with David Muir, Nightline and 20/20 will air special editions from Washington.

On Thursday, America’s New First Family: The Trumps Go to Washington features Vargas’ interview with Donald Trump, Jr. and a joint interview with Eric and Lara Trump. Correspondent Deborah Roberts has an interview with Ivanka Trump on her platform, if she will act as First Lady, and more. On Friday, a live edition of 20/20 will report on the highlights of Inauguration Day, Inauguration Day fashion, and the supporters traveling from across America to witness the festivities.
ABC News Digital will also provide coverage of the Inauguration across desktop, mobile, social & OTT properties with real time analysis. CBS News will deliver on-site coverage on the CBS Broadcast Network, CBSN, and all CBS News platforms on Inauguration Day.

- 7 a.m. – 4 p.m. ET: Charlie Rose, Gayle King and Norah O’Donnell anchor CBS This Morning and CBS News’ coverage live from the National Mall. CBS Evening News anchor and managing editor Scott Pelley joins CBS This Morning, and will anchor the network’s all-day coverage from the swearing-in through the parade. Face the Nation anchor and CBS News political director John Dickerson, CBS News contributor Bob Schieffer, and CBS This Morning: Saturday Co-Hosts Anthony Mason and Alex Wagner plus a team of CBS News correspondents will contribute to the live coverage. - 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. ET: Scott Pelley anchors a one-hour edition of the CBS Evening News live from Washington on Friday. The half-hour program will also broadcast from D.C. Wednesday, Jan. 18 and Thursday, Jan. 19.
- 8 – 9 p.m. ET: CBS News broadcasts Change and Challenge: The Inauguration of Donald Trump, a one-hour live special anchored by King and Dickerson. Featuring CBS News correspondents around the country, the special will examine an unprecedented new American leader, how he will govern and if he can unify Americans.
- On Saturday, Jan. 21, Mason and Wagner will broadcast of CBS This Morning: Saturday live from the National Mall.
- The Sunday, Jan. 22 edition of CBS Sunday Morning will deliver reports on various aspects of the Inauguration, ranging from a look back at the legacy of President Barack Obama to aspects of the Inauguration of Donald Trump.
- Face the Nation will also analysis of the Inauguration and what lies ahead for the new Administration on its Jan. 22 edition.
- Correspondents Major Garrett, Nancy Cordes, Jeff Pegues, Margaret Brennan, Jan Crawford, Chip Reid, Kris Van Cleave, Anna Werner and Errol Barnett will report from Washington; Erin Moriarty and Peter Van Sant will provide reporting from Wisconsin, Texas and Maryland; and Elizabeth Palmer will report from Moscow.
CBSN:
- CBSN’s around-the-clock coverage, available across all leading digital platforms, will originate from Washington with Eliane Quijano, Josh Elliott, Vladimir Duthiers and Reena Ninan. Leading up to the Inauguration, Quijano will report on the latest moves in Washington on Red and Blue, CBSN’s daily politics program that debuted earlier this month, and will explore how Americans across the nation are being impacted by the transition to a new administration (Monday – Thursday, 9 p.m. ET).
CBS Newspath:
- CBS Newspath, the Network’s 24-hour TV newsgathering service for CBS stations and broadcasters around the world, will also offer full Inauguration Day coverage. A team of CBS Newspath correspondents including Craig Boswell, Don Champion, Kenneth Craig, Weijia Jiang, Jamie Yuccas, will report from Washington on Inauguration Day and surrounding it.
FOX:
On the FOX Broadcast, FNC’s chief news anchor Shepard Smith will provide live coverage from D.C. on Inauguration Day from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m., which will be offered to the FOX affiliates. Also contributing to FOX Broadcast will be FNC’s Mike Emanuel.
NBC News & MSNBC:
NBC News and MSNBC together will cover the inauguration live from Washington, and NBC News HQ in New York, with anchors and correspondents reporting from Capitol Hill, the parade route, the National Mall, the White House, across the country, and around the world.
Inauguration coverage on the NBC broadcast network begins at 7 a.m. ET as Matt Lauer co-hosts Today live from Washington on Friday morning, with Al Roker, Meet the Press moderator and NBC News political director Chuck Todd and NBC News analyst Nicolle Wallace.
Beginning at 10 a.m. ET, NBC Nightly News anchor Lester Holt leads coverage from Capitol Hill, joined by NBC News special correspondent Tom Brokaw, Todd and Wallace. NBC News analysts Ben Ginsberg and Hugh Hewitt and NBC News presidential historian Michael Beschloss will also join the network’s coverage.
Nightly News will broadcast live from Washington both Thursday and Friday, with an expanded one-hour broadcast on Inauguration Day.
Dateline NBC will feature a report from Dennis Murphy on the Inauguration on Friday at 10p/9c. Murphy will offer highlights from the day’s events and will update viewers with the latest info.
On MSNBC, coverage kicks off with a special four-hour edition of Morning Joe live from The Dubliner pub in Washington from 6 – 10 a.m. ET.
Rachel Maddow, Brian Williams, and Chris Matthews lead MSNBC’s all-day coverage beginning at 10 a.m. ET, anchored from MSNBC World Headquarters in New York, with live reports from MSNBC and NBC News correspondents on the ground in Washington and beyond. PBS NewsHour in an exclusive partnership with Twitter will live stream special coverage of Inauguration Day 2017 on Twitter from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. ET on Friday. The special broadcast will be anchored by managing editor Judy Woodruff, with NewsHour correspondents John Yang reporting from the steps of the U.S. Capitol and Lisa Desjardins from the National Mall. NewsHour’s livestream will include the swearing in of the next president and vice president on the steps of the U.S. Capitol, the Inaugural Address and Parade, and Trump’s arrival at the White House.

Noticias Telemundo announced its broadcast of Los Hispanos y Trump, a news special hosted by José Díaz-Balart that presents the events of the presidential inauguration from the points of view of 5 Hispanics from different backgrounds, including a hair stylist, a dreamer and a factory worker, from Los Angeles, New York, New Jersey and San Francisco, on Friday beginning at 7 p.m./6c Los Hispanos y Trump expands Telemundo’s coverage of President Elect Donald Trump’s inauguration to eight hours, the network’s most extensive coverage to date of this type of the event. The Inauguration Day programming will be available in its entirety on the NoticiasTelemundo.com website.
“On Los Hispanos y Trump, we will experience the inauguration through the eyes of five individuals who reflect the broader Latino community,” explained Luis Fernández, evp of Noticias Telemundo. “The Trump presidency and its potential consequences for Latinos are unprecedented, calling for coverage that allows audiences to share their feelings without unnecessary filters and with the rigor and transparency that characterize Noticias Telemundo.”
The network’s Inauguration Day coverage will begin Friday at 9 a.m./8c with Trump en la Casa Blanca. Noticias Telemundo anchor José Díaz-Balart and Al Rojo Vivo host María Celeste Arrarás will lead a team of more than 10 reporters and presenters stationed around the country.
The Noticias Telemundo team will be based at a studio at the Newseum de Washington, D.C. and have special access to the ceremony. Morning programming will include the swearing-in ceremony on the steps of the Capitol, the full schedule of performances by invited musicians and artists, and the parade in honor of the new president, featuring military regiments, civil organizations and marching bands. Throughout, the network’s coverage will feature the reactions of Hispanics across the United States, with commentary and analysis by Noticias Telemundo experts. The regular broadcasts of Al Rojo Vivo” and “Noticias Telemundo will also be devoted to analyzing the day’s developments.
Univision:
Special coverage of the 45th Presidential Inauguration, titled Cambio de Mando (Change of Leadership), kicks off at 7 a.m. ET / 4 a.m. PT on the Univision Network’s morning show Despierta América (Wake Up America), with news anchor Satcha Pretto hosting from Washington. Then, at 11 a.m. ET/8 a.m. PT, the network’s live coast-to-coast broadcast of the ceremony begins, led by anchors Jorge Ramos and María Elena Salinas, also stationed in the nation’s capital. They will be joined by former governor of New Mexico, Bill Richardson, Mexican politician and professor Jorge Castañeda, Harvard lecturer and advisor to the Trump transition team, Carlos Díaz Rocillo, and Jazmina Saavedra, director of Latinas for Trump, as well as members of the Women’s March and the Dreamer movement, to discuss the details of the inauguration as well as analyze important issues that could impact Latinos during a Trump administration.
Throughout the day, a team of Univision News correspondents will be reporting from different locations, including Lourdes Meluzá from the Capitol, Luis Megid from the National Mall, Blanca Vilchez from the protests and marches, Pablo Gato from the Trump International Hotel, and Janet Rodríguez from the White House. Tony Dandrades, entertainment reporter for Univision’s newsmagazine Primer Impacto, will take viewers inside the inaugural balls.
On Sunday, Univision will air a special edition of its prime time newsmagazine “Aquí y Ahora” (Here and Now) in which experts will discuss how immigrants in the U.S. could be impacted if Trump’s proposed policies on immigration and healthcare are actually implemented. Titled Qué Esperar del Presidente Trump (What to Expect from President Trump), it airs at 10 p.m. ET /7 p.m. PT.
Univision Radio stations across the country will broadcast the Univision Network’s special coverage of the inauguration between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. ET on Friday. Some stations in major markets, such as WAQI in Miami, will air special programming featuring commentary and analysis with local talent and guests.
CABLE
BBC News:
BBC News will also be getting into the Inauguration Day action. For U.S. and global audiences, there will be live coverage of Friday’s festivities across the BBC’s international news services on TV, radio and online. The 24/7 global news network BBC World News TV will begin coverage from 9 a.m. ET on Friday, along with full news and analysis throughout the day on BBC.com, the BBC News app, social media outlets and on BBC World Service radio broadcasts on public radio stations in the U.S.
The BBC’s Katty Kay will anchor the live coverage from atop the Newseum, and the network will follow the official proceedings on Inauguration Day, including the swearing in ceremony, the inaugural address, as well as the presidential parade to the White House. Along with following events in Washington D.C, the BBC will also be gauging reaction from around the world to a day which marks the transfer of presidential power from one administration to the next and analyzing the significance of this transition to the wider international community.
The BBC’s flagship U.S. newscast World News America with Katty Kay at 5 p.m. ET, broadcasting on BBC World News TV and public television in the U.S., will be getting reaction on the day both within and outside America.
BBC News will also be launching a new weekday TV news show on Monday, Jan. 23 – 100 Days – as the Trump administration takes office, to follow the first three months of the Trump’s term in the White House.
Bloomberg:
Bloomberg’s special Inauguration coverage kicked off on Monday at 9 p.m. ET with the first of four one-hour With All Due Respect specials hosted by the dynamic duo of Mark Halperin and John Heilemann. The specials explore different elements of the new administration’s priorities. Monday’s episode focused on Trump’s plans for taxes, entitlements, and regulations; Tuesday’s on the federal budget; Wednesday’s will focus on his promise to bring change to Washington and the Supreme Court; and Thursday’s on international trade and foreign policy.
On Inauguration Day, Halperin and Heilemann will anchor live coverage of the day’s events from 11 a.m. -1 p.m. ET available on Bloomberg TV, Bloomberg.Com and live-streamed on the Bloomberg Politics Youtube page, and will host an encore episode of With All Due Respect live at 5 p.m. ET on Bloomberg TV.
CNBC:
CNBC will provide coverage throughout CNBC’s Business day programming providing viewers with full access to the stories that are not only shaping the White House, but also Wall Street. CNBC will focus on topics including taxes, jobs, trade, and healthcare, among others throughout the day.
Squawk Box (6 – 9 a.m. ET) will broadcast live from Washington with anchors Joe Kernen, Becky Quick and Andrew Ross Sorkin, all of whom will surely still be jetlagged from their trip out to Davos. Carl Quintanilla will be live in Washington for Squawk on the Street.
Beginning at 11 a.m., CNBC will broadcast The Inauguration of Donald Trump, which will be anchored by Quintanilla, Michelle Caruso-Cabrera and Kelly Evans, with commentary from CNBC senior contributor Larry Kudlow on the roof of 101 Constitution in Washington. Evans will also anchor Closing Bell (3 – 5 p.m. ET) from the Newschannel studio in Washington.
CNBC’s coverage will also include reporting from John Harwood, Sorkin, Scott Wapner, Eamon Javers, Kayla Tausche, Robert Frank and Hampton Pearson.
CNN:
CNN’s coverage, titled: The Inauguration of Donald Trump, will kick off at 5 a.m. ET with New Day with Chris Cuomo and Alisyn Camerota live from Washington.

- The CNN Film The End: Inside the Last Days of the Obama White House offers a portrait of the ambitions, achievements, heartbreak, and history of the past eight years, told by the people who have worked closely with the Obamas and shared in their journey. The two-hour film was screened at the National Archives yesterday, and premieres on CNN and CNN International tonight at 9 p.m. ET.
- CNN Films and CNN Digital Video produced a short film featuring W. Kamau Bell that explores the history of the presidential Oath of Office – and why President Obama took the Oath four times. The digital short will be released widely on Monday, leading up to Inauguration Day.
C-SPAN:
C-SPAN will provide extensive, commercial-free coverage of the inauguration that expands across all media platforms, offering TV, radio and online audiences with an immersive view of the day’s events and behind the scenes access.
Live programming on C-SPAN will begin at 7 a.m. ET on Friday and will include:

Over on Fox News, Special Report’s Bret Baier and The First 100 Days’ Martha MacCallum will co-anchor America’s Election Headquarters: Inauguration 2017, on Friday from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. ET. Contributions will also be provided by co-anchors of America’s Newsroom Bill Hemmer and Shannon Bream, senior political analyst Brit Hume, co-host of The Five Dana Perino and Fox News Sunday’s Chris Wallace, Additionally, The First 100 Days anchored by MacCallum, will broadcast three shows during its debut week live from Washington.
FNC anchors and correspondents will be contributing to special live coverage throughout locations in D.C. Chief White House correspondent John Roberts will be covering the President-elect from multiple scenes. Chief political correspondent Carl Cameron, chief congressional correspondent Mike Emmanuel, chief national correspondent Ed Henry and national security correspondent Jennifer Griffin will report live from the Capitol Building. Neil Cavuto will anchor Fox Business’ live coverage from Washington. The network kicked off Inauguration coverage on Tuesday with Maria Bartiromo in Washington, culminating in Friday’s events. Many of FBN’s programs will be presented live from locations throughout Washington, beginning Thursday. Mornings with Maria (5-9 a.m.) will kick off Friday’s coverage, followed by Neil Cavuto who will anchor coverage of the swearing-in ceremonies and subsequent parade from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. ET. Lou Dobbs will anchor a special edition of Lou Dobbs Tonight (5 – 8 p.m.) followed by Intelligence Report with Trish Regan (8 – 10 p.m.), providing the latest from the Inaugural balls.
