Fox News Channel has named Heather Childers and Ainsley Earhardt the permanent anchors of “Fox & Friends First.”

The early-morning newscast airs from 5-6 AM, leading into FNC’s signature morning program “Fox & Friends,” and providing more fast-paced updates on what happened overnight and the evening before.

Childers has joined Earhardt on weekday mornings for the past few weeks, but FNC is now making their appointment official. Earhardt joined FNC in 2007 as a correspondent, while Childers joined the channel as a correspondent in 2010.
