Headline News Hires Richelle Carey

By Brian

Richelle Carey, a morning anchor at KMOV in St. Louis, is joining Headline News next month. “Carey’s new assignment, which will include anchoring Headline Prime news breaks as well as overnight newscasts, will begin Tuesday, June 13,” the network announced.

Here’s her bio. Before moving to St. Louis, Carey anchored the morning news for KVVU in Las Vegas and KETK in Tyler, Texas. She also covered Fort Hood as a reporter for KWTX in Waco.

> By the way: This is the first time I’ve seen Ken Jautz with the title “executive vice president of CNN Worldwide.” It’s also interesting that the channel is never called “CNN Headline News” anymore — it’s just “Headline News.”
