Greta, In Durham, Breaks News About Duke Rape Accuser’s Pregnancy

Greta Van Susteren broke into the Fox Report on Thursday to report “astounding news” about the Duke rape accuser: she’s pregnant. Then she said the accuser had given birth:

“The cousin told us that the accuser was pregnant. Well just moments ago, intrepid journalist Ted Williams, who’s down here with me, spoke with the grandmother of the accuser and she is not nine months pregnant — she’s a mother. She just had a baby at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. We don’t know if it’s a boy or a girl. The accuser is now the proud mother of a new child.”

But on Friday, the Durham D.A. said the baby is due in February, “bluntly contradicted family members of the accuser who earlier said she had already given birth.”
