“Green Week” On NBC Nets In November

NBC Universal is commiting to a “unprecedented, companywide weeklong programming effort” to educate consumers about “ecological issues and our impact on the environment.”

It’s scheduled for Nov. 4 through 10. Here’s the press release.

“NBC News’ platforms including Today, Nightly News, Dateline, MSNBC and MSNBC.com, will support a week of special programming, including in-depth looks at the issues and some unique special broadcast events,” the release says. And “CNBC’s programming throughout the week will focus on ways in which ‘going green’ can make both a global impact and be financially beneficial.” For example, The Big Idea and Fast Money are planning special segments…
