Cheryl Gould has been promoted to senior vice president of NBC News. Jeff Zucker and Steve Capus made the announcement. “Gould will work closely with Capus on a variety of day-to-day management issues,” the press release says.
“I’ve been fortunate to work with Cheryl for my entire career at NBC News,” Capus says. “She is a real pro who knows this business — and particularly NBC News — inside and out, and we are so pleased to have her back at 30 Rock.”
