Good Morning America co-host Lara Spencer returned to the ABC morning show Monday, after recovering from hip replacement surgery. “I’m feeling great,” Spencer told co-host Robin Roberts. “I’m feeling really well.”

Last month, Spencer announced she would undergo the surgery after years of chronic pain, admitting that she was “terrified.” But the surgery, on Aug. 13, went smoothly.

“I am so happy to be back and these hips don’t lie baby,” Spencer joked, saying she was walking without any assistance, and offering to pass on a bejeweled cane to someone else who needed it and got in touch via Twitter.
