In the Nielsen fast national overnight numbers Good Morning America beat the Today show Tuesday morning in total viewers. GMA had 244,000 more total viewers than the Today show. However, Today topped GMA in the A25-54 demo by 231,000 viewers. ABC had a strong Monday night in primetime with the debut of Samantha Who? and heavyweight Dancing with the Stars.
The fast national numbers come from the nation’s top 20 markets. GMA is very strong in markets including Los Angeles, Chicago and Philadelphia.
