Good Morning America provided some levity to this morning’s broadcast. The team took the #LemonsforLeukemia challenge to benefit Be the Match and raise awareness for bone marrow donation.
Co-anchor Robin Roberts has close ties to the organization after her own lifesaving bone marrow donation to treat Myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS). The anchors as well as GMA viewers completed the challenge live on air sucking sour lemon wedges. The anchors challenged Will Smith, Tiffany Haddish, Jimmy Kimmel and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
