ABC News’ “Good Morning America” now has a “Magic Wall” to call its own.

This morning GMA co-anchor George Stephanopoulos unveiled the “Frustration Index,” which used the wall to visually present public attitudes on the President’s performance, the economy, satisfaction with the government and support for incumbents.

As TVNewser reported, CNN’s Digital and 3D media producer David Reisner, who was behind the network’s New York bureau magic wall, left CNN for ABC in January to become the Interactive Media Producer there. We’d heard the wall, which is built by is built by Perceptive Pixel, would soon be making an appearance on “GMA.”

While the “Frustration Index” marks the wall’s first regular use on GMA, ABC News did use a magic wall during the 2008 election. Now, with the “Frustration Index” it will become a more regular feature, especially in the lead-up to the November midterm elections.

The index was developed by Stephanopoulos, ABC’s political team and its polling unit.
