Glenn Beck Begins Week of ‘Restoring’ Events in Israel

By Chris Ariens

Ahead of Wednesday’s Restoring Courage event in Israel, Glenn Beck took over an outdoor amphitheater built by King Herod 2,000 years ago. About 3,000 people filled the theater adjacent to the Mediterranean Sea in the town of Caesarea Sunday. See more photos here.

Beck arrived in Israel last week and has been hosting his radio show from there since last Monday. Tonight, he’s holding a gathering at the Old Train Station Plaza in central Jerusalem, with a focus on a remembrance of the Holocaust. The main event is set for Wednesday night at Jerusalem’s Davidson Center. Yesterday, Sen. Joe Lieberman pulled out of speaking at the event citing family reasons. All of the events are being carried on Beck’s GBTV.
